I am Somnath Mukherjee, often known as Som, and I bring forth a wealth of over 30 years of technology experience, having served in prominent organizations such as Xerox India and Shriram Industries. As a technocrat, my expertise encompasses comprehensive IT Operations, including Project Management (from Conception to Implementation), Infrastructure Management, Procurement, Systems Management, and Security Compliances.
A meticulous planner, strategist, and implementer, I boast a proven record of successfully delivering projects from their conceptualization to fruition within predefined budgets and deadlines. In my most recent role, I had the privilege of leading the IT division for Teleperformance India as Vice President- IT, collaborating closely with the Teleperformance Global team.
At present, I channel my expertise as an IT Consultant, offering strategic advice on SAAS-based contact center solutions and smart applications, particularly for startups. My academic background includes a master’s degree in Chemistry, complemented by a Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications and Design. Additionally, I hold the esteemed designation of a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
